Sick....

Johnny has been home sick with a fever for the last 3 days...1 day w/me and the other 2 days with Grandmas.  Johnny was absolutely fine this morning at home but in the car on the way to the sitter he said "Mommy, I sick in here"  I said "You are?  Why are you sick again?"  He replied "Because I want to go to Grandma's house!".  LOL!  Amazing how quickly they catch on....to everything!

Christmas 2010

We had a GREAT Christmas this year!  Santa brought his presents to Johnny on Dec 23 this year since he knew we had a very busy Christmas Eve & Christmas Day planned.  Johnny got matchbox cars, a car garage & carrier, some little tractors, a "red red car" as Johnny requested, a couple of games, a remote control monster truck, some other smaller things and his big present was a train table. He loved everything that he got and took his time opening all of his gifts.  He did great and was very excited this year.  On Christmas Eve morning we went to Gma & Gpa Quinlan's to celebrate with Shell, Jeff & kids and Jackie & Paul.  His big gifts there were a mega blocks table and little people airport among other things!   We had a lot of snow that day but were still able to make it back into town to go to church and then to the Prina's for our annual get together there.  Johnny was quite the entertainer and got Dance Star Mickey.  Then we stayed at Gma & Gpa Rodeen's house with Kate & Ken and woke up for presents there on Christmas morning. Johnny got  an easel, a dinosaur, another cool monster truck and other things that I can't think of off the top of my head.  Needless to say he made out very well this Christmas!  He has been playing with everything, though, and really loves all of it.  We ended the Christmas festivities with going to Mom's house on Christmas afternoon for the Albers get together but we were all just too tired and only made it for about an hour and a half at her house. 

Kate was home all week so she got to spend a lot of time with Johnny which I think was fun for both of them!  We got to go out in Champaign one night with her which was a good time as always.
